Cloisonné is one of China's famous special metal crafts, which reached its peak in production during the Jingtailan period of the Ming Dynasty. Cloisonné, also known as copper wire filigree enamel, is made by using flat copper wire to create various patterns on a copper substrate and then filling it with enamel glaze. Due to its mature craftsmanship and predominantly blue color, it is named Cloisonné. In this course, we will observe the decorative patterns of Cloisonné together.
